Battle of Bentonville

Game Description

AVAILABLE
NOW

The Battle of Bentonville (March 19-21, 1865) was the largest Civil War battle in North Carolina and the last major battle between the armies under William T. Sherman and Joseph E. Johnston. The Confederate General Johnston was ordered to stop the Union Army from advancing on Bentonville and hoped to destroy Sherman’s Union army in piecemeal.

The game offers two scenario variants: the first day of battle and the full three-day battle scenario that covers more area around the map.

Skillfully designed by Bill Molyneaux, with acclaimed author and historian Wade Sokolosky serving as Historical Advisor, this game draws directly from an authentic period map preserved in the Library of Congress, bringing players closer to the Battle than ever before.

The stunning visuals of the map, counters, player aids, and game box, were expertly crafted by George L. Heredia of GeoTactics, whose detailed artistry and editorial contributions also helped shape and refine the final Rulebook.

The game is available through its publisher Blue Panther Publishing and on Noble Knight.
