Battle of New Market

Game Description

COMING
SOON

The Battle of New Market (May 15, 1864) -

'"n the Spring of 1864 commander of all Union forces, Lt. General Ulysses S. Grant, designed a strategy to attack the Confederacy on all fronts. This included a surge up the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Assigned to this task was Major General Franz Sigel. Although skeptical of Sigel’s prowess as a general, Grant was hopeful that Sigel could advance quickly enough to capture Staunton and threaten the flank of Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia opposing Grant in the central part of the state." - Aaron Siever.

Another easy to play game design by Bill Molyneaux, with local historian Aaron Siever serving as the game's Historical Advisor, this game draws directly from an authentic period map preserved in the Library of Congress, that draws players to a period correct battle experience.

Once again, George L. Heredia of GeoTactics has created a beautiful playing map, counters, player aids, and even the game box.

The game will be available through its publisher Blue Panther Publishing and on Noble Knight.

So keep checking in here for updates.
